The Ride is a theme park ride built exclusively for Cannery Row in Monterey, California. During the nearly 20-minute experience, guests search for lost treasure in a world they never imagined existed beneath their feet. After watching a short video, visitors enjoy a stunning animated pre-show that takes them deep underground. Next, they board their cavern cars before being transported through the “newly discovered” cave system just below Monterey’s historic Cannery Row. Guests compete with each other for the highest score, battle a pirate skeleton crew, collect lost treasure, and ultimately have to escape the might Kraken.
